Some time during this weekend (May 18/19), the Alligator Lines web site reached, what is for me, a significant mile stone. It had its 10.000th visitor!
When the site was first started, back in October 2005, it was a fun project, mostly for me to enjoy doing but with the hope that a few others might find it of interest.
Today it has many readers and has become my way of sharing my passion for model railroading with anyone else who is at all interested (as someone said, not only do you need a passion but you also need to share it with others) and there are reciprocal links with seven other sights! The links are on the Alligator Lines Links page reciprocating with:
- Fifer Hobby Supply: Links Page and on every How To (example) page that originated from Alligator Lines.
- Scale Rails Online: Resources/Links page.
- Michael Denny's Model Railroader: Links page (where is Michael, we haven't heard from him for awhile?)
- Rails USA: N Scale Layouts
- Rail Serve: Model Railroad Layouts
- ModelRailroads.net: N Scale Layouts
- Last, but definitely not least, our very own nScale.net under Links->Layouts.
And it was here that the web site really started taking off since this was the first place that I made any effort to really publicize the site! As such, I really want to extend a huge thank you to all of our members and readers alike who have visited the site at one time or another.
It is still growing! There is still quite a bit more scenery to be done not to mention a number of other things that need attending to! Bar Mill's The "Shack Pack" will be the next item to be added - soon!
Please keep visiting! Plus your feedback is always welcome!

Congratulations to the Alligator Line Railroad in reaching this milestone.
It has done so because of the quality of the Web Site and it's terrific information. I also hope to see it continue to grow and reach the 100,000 visitor.
See ya

I know it has been awhile
I know it has been awhile since I made the original entry (above) but it recently occurred to me that I had left out a very important credit! And I'd like to put that right!
Back in May 2006, Todd (our owner and Administrator, just in case some of our newer readers may not be aware) came across the Alligator Lines site and decided to make it an nScale.net Featured Site (Alligator Lines)!
I think it was at this time that the site really started to take off so a big "Thank You" to Todd really is in order.
Congrats Bryan , I know you
