Depot and commercial street on the TFR (part 1).

Hi all,

I'm back before a long no-modlling period.

Today i will show you the main street of the little town on my layout.

First let's talk about the karl market construction.

This building is based on a North eastern scale models laser kit. It the Earlsmall's shaws tenement Row.Really a nice kit with hight quality pieces.I decided to do an heavy kit bashing on it.So go on !

Secondly i have modified the shape of the differants walls to dellete one stairs and get space for the front advertising.You can on this photo

the new shape of the center par of the store:

 the internal sturture have been modified to fit the new wall shape, and have been fitted whit lighting equipements.

First folowing view show on the foreground the new structure and in the background the structure before mofications. The second image show ligthing and the electrical wirering.

 After that i have stked the wall on the structure.Notice that first floor have been modifed to present large glass onthe shop's. The wood of le deleted strairs have recycled for the swall extention on the left of the building.

The folowing stage is the paintings opperation made whit tamiya acrilic's and a aztec air brush.All the trim's and window's have been pained separatly.

In the same time i have design an interior amenagement for the fruit shop. I scatchbuilt this with thick plywood (used for boat modeling) and stip of balsa. The fruit have been made with photography of real fruit reduced and printed. The big fruit have benn made with "coriandre" seed. ( for indication the 1 cent euro money have same sive of an american or canadian 1 cent $).

Now you put togever all the pieces shown before : ( The advertises have been found on the net )

Now the dificult part of the mastic's work ( the dark side of heavy kitbashing but you must do it) :

 After that i have buil part of construction that's was'nt in the kit. (of course .... the kit was'nt designed to made a fruit market lol )

I have cuted the trim of lagre glasses in a white sheet of sticker's. I have made also roofing whith tar paper handly cuted :
