I've spent the last few days with carbon paper and a felt tipped marker transfering the track plan onto the module surfaces. Gives me something visual to follow as I progress.
Here's two pictures. One shows an overall of the modules and how they connect and the other shows some of my track plan on the module.
Once I finish transfering the track plan to the module surfaces, I plan to build up just the road bed (for now) with foam topped with cork.
Of course, before I can do that, I have to finish building my hot wire foam cutter...

It appears you will have
It appears you will have easy access to all sides of the layout. Having the window will also provide good light for working. Just found your hat river track plan. I like the point to point plan. I saw a note regarding a turntable but did not see it on the plan. Will there be one for turning the Locos?
See ya

Jim, a hindsight note - it might have been a good idea to have included a link to your plan!
Turntable
Ron,
There will be two turntables. One at the engine terminal at the division yard and the other at the other end at the stub yard.
I only put in about 9" of track to signify the turntables as I have not yet decided what I'll be using/scratching building (or a game attempt anyway) etc.
Thanks for the comment.

Oops.
Bryan C,
Never thought of that. My bad. Thanks for getting it in there for me.
