So here's the space I have to work with & the benchwork footprint.

Layout Room & BenchWork FootPrint

The lower space is a room 6' wide by almost 16' long. The bench work will basically be a 2'-wide shelf that runs both sides and one end of the room. In the adjacent room, there will be another 2'-wide shelf that runs the same 16' length.

At each end of the run, a "blob" will allow for a graded horseshoe curve.

More cheers!

Is there any way the wall

Is there any way the wall can be either removed or a 4-5 foot opening cut into it?

I had a similar issue and had a 4 foot opening cut into mine. I will have the opening closed up if we ever sell.

If not then perhaps cut some openings for the track to move between the two rooms.

The Wall

Hi Ron,

It's not a wall - it's just bare studs with a framed in doorway. The backdrops will wrap around as per my diagram and there will be a couple of "tunnels" from one side to the other.

That sounds cool. Sorry I

That sounds cool. Sorry I did not see it. Like the idea of tunnels between the backdrops. Looking forward to seeing the track plan.
