This is a prolog to a short story I've been working on it for a few years. It has been rewritten several times. I think this may be close to the final version. It is the early life of a serial killer and how he started to walk down this awful path. From time to time I may add additional chapters. I hope to finish it by next spring.

New Heavy Element Found !!!

Some say science and government work best together. I'm not so sure about that. Here is an article (story?) on the a newest heavy (in fact it's the heaviest) element found.
This combination has affected may things in our lives. IMO, it may have had some influence on the demise and deterioration of many passenger railroads. And perhaps is starting to have an affect on MRR industry.

Creepy? Crawley? Visitors !!

At 5:00 am this morning, I was awakened by my wife's cats making strange sounds and knocking stuff around and off the layout. It's under construction so all they could hurt was some WS risers and sectional tracks.

A Quarry - What is it ? Will it fit on my railroad?

We all wish to have large industries on our railroads. But space is sometime an issue. However one industry that can usually fit on just about any sized (except the very small) is a quarry.
Really, what is a quarry? How are they built? How do they work on a daily basis?

History of The Divisions Cities, Towns, and places of Interest
Most all model railroads have towns, cities and places of interest. Some are based on real prototype locations and others are freelance with imaginary places. I’ve seldom seen any interesting information on these model railroad scenic places. Some could have historical or human interest. But we are never told any background on these locations.
