Well, there's nothing terrible impressive or exciting to see, just your typical benchwork under construction. I figured that I'd better document it, though, just to keep myself motivated. The benchwork should be done by tomorrow; that is, unless I decide to spend time actually cleaning my garage, which as you see from the photo is something I need to do very badly.

Kern Train Show Report
Took the family down to the Kern Train Show today and had fun looking at all the trains and railroads.
Modelers block over! (And so my first layout begins...)
Well this is it, my first blog entry on nScale.net; which incidentally, marks the first day of work on my first layout. On a humorous note, I should point out that I'm finally actually doing something because my trip to the Tehachapi Loop didn't work out today. We tried to go, but we got a flat tire about a third of the way down there. So, I put the donut on the car and turned around. I had no other options or excuses for putting off work on my layout. So, ironically, the rubber finally hit the road today, first literally and then figuratively.
