The technology side of Soundtraxx' new product is progressing well, but
it will not ship as planned on 12/1!
Mike's Train House has just been given some sweeping patents and has
sent certified "cease and desist" letters to many DCC equipment
manufacturers. Soundtraxx is confident that their existing product line
is not impacted. They are completing the necessary legal due diligence
to assure that the Tsunami does not infringe on any defensible patent
before they ship.
Expect a month or so slip.

MTH has sent a "cease and desist" letter to QSI (and is suing them, I
understand).
The rest of the DCC community (Digitrax, Soundtraxx, Lenz, NCE, et al)
have received certified letters informing them of the patent approval.
Soundtraxx is doing the necessary work to assure themselves and their
lawyer that they are NOT infringing on any enforceable patent before
they ship the Tsunami.
