      Great trick with the box lid to remove the shell! I hope after seeing this people will go ahead with converting their locomotives.

      Was just investigating what it takes to replace these on a few of my Kato locos after this weekends train show setup, where the engine just wouldn't stay coupled to regular MT couplers. So, this video came at the PERFECT time! Thanks Metro!

      As a newbie, wish I'd seen this before I sent back my SW2 which would not couple to any of my cars. Live and learn.

      Great tutorial!! I think I'll do that with my Kato AC4400CW and ES44AC. Think I'll have to keep the longer couplers on my Kato P42, they work better when hooking upto my Rapido coaches.
