Wiring for a Liftout?

I have a small lift-out on my layout.  It's going to have 2 tracks Atlas c55.  It's only a bit over 2 feet long and about 9 in wide.  I decided to simplify things and make it a lift-out rather than a gate at this time.  I've got a couple of ideas for getting power to the tracks on the lift-out but I thought I might try to see if anyone has any suggestions as well.  I would also like to address the problem of cutting off power to the track before the lift-out in case the lift-out isn't in place to prevent any nasty cliff dives.

Thanks

Eric

Something might be wrong with the tag.  We get an error 404 Not Found message.

Thanks though
