alright, i just purchased a (used) Atlas FA-1 from 1978, oldest thing i now own lol
and im not having issues with it really, shes a good runner for her age, but im looking on how to convert the couplers.
is there any one here that has done this?

anyways i want to get of topic real quick, it is still about the FA.
did you know the Atlas Fa-1 was the first N locomotive to have a flywheel?
also for such an old engine (no pun intended, im only 18) 1978, its slow speed is excellent!.....even though the starting voltage is somewhere around 5 volts!
if you run across this ancient beauty, dont be afraid to buy it, itd be worth your money....as long as its under $30 lol (mine was $10 ;) )
