I came across something the other day that I'm going to try.  My wife was "doing her nails" with one of those acrylic nail systems.  Once you put on the nails themselves you apply an acrylic nail solution.  It's basically a power that you mix with a liquid and form a paste.  You can do just about anything with it as far as molding or filling in gaps.  Once you sand it smooth it looks great.  I know there are products out there designed for our hobby but I figured I'd share this one with you just in case someone needs something like this and can't find anything else.  I have found it works great for many projects so far.

Thanks for the tip, I will

Thanks for the tip, I will give it a try sometime. Right now I use CA for small gap filling, but its not my favorite and I have been wanting to find something better.

Gap Filling - more!

My wife heard on HGTV the other day someone recommending plain old white toothpast (not the gel kind) as a great filler for small areas!

Not tried it myself yet but it may just work. Not sure how long it would take to dry though!Surprised
