I got a few of these,

I got a few of these, pretty nice cars, lack weight. Therefore you pretty much have to run them loaded.

Also John Sing has an online article on using MT1035s instead of the 1037s.

John's site is really great
John's site is really great and informative. If he took that backround out you would be able to read the text.

I have to agree with you Todd; it's like wall-papering the lounge. Looks all right at first, but gets a bit old after a while. I often end up copying the text to Word so I can read it, but John's wasn't THAT bad, just annoying.

As for the original question; I personally feel that the cars are just all right, but considering the light weight, coupler/truck change issues, and adding see through walk-ways/details, $10 is a bit more than I would pay on e-bay. I'm in the middle of swapping out plastic details on the walkways for etched metal, and once my trucks arrive (and new wheels) I'll have to show them off. Makes a slightly pricey car though...
