Hello all,

I began using an Atlas RR layout (n-18 in n scale) but I wanted to use Kato unitrack instead.  I used a software cad program so that I could convert the plan from n55 to Kato.  I am preparing to now wire for DCC (completely new layout) but I am having trouble identifying any reverse loops.  I did not think there was any however, i read on another site that a reverse loops exists.  Can anyone review the plan and advise of any reverse loops or other problems with using DCC according to the layout?  Any suggestions on wiring for DCC? Also, any general feedback would be greatly appreciated as well.

The plan can be found at http://www.bncchoppers.com

I think you forgot to include the plan! Easy enough to forget attachments - and I know it!

Could you edit your post and include an image or a link to it!

Is it the ramp up from the 1st level to the 2nd level at the top or middle of the layout?  Or is it the track that runs between the two turnouts (left and right) just below the quad 90's?

Just so you know saying
Just so you know saying "top" or "middle" is meaningless because you don't know how I'm holding my book. It is, however, the track you reference "below" the crossings.

Apparently you're missing Nine N Scale Model Railroads, 2nd Edition by John Armstrong and Thaddeus Stepek. That would be where I found the plan the original poster referenced. It must also be available online somewhere as I can't imagine somebody asking this question would already own the book.

Thanks.  I don't have the book because I found the trakc plan online.  I guess I better buy this book.  Sorry for the "stupid" question.

Wow, my first post on this site and I am already getting blasted for asking a question.

^^^ Actually. I do have that book but saw nothing connecting the request to a plan therein!

I see the OP has now included a link, which is good!

kshart61, don't you think you may be over reacting just a little bit? You asked a perfectly valid question but didn't provide any reference for it. railohio was able to figure it out and answered your question.

I asked for some clarification and possibly an mage and/or link. Both of which you have since provided.

Were you really getting blasted?

Yes, but after the fact, and he also provided a link that can be found in the OP.

It wasn't a "stupid" question, but it was covered in the book. What would've been stupid would be asking the question with the book in front of you and thus why I figured you didn't own the book.

Over reaction?

Kirt, I see nothing that resembles being "blasted" in this thread... and I don't remember any occurrence of a member being blasted, chastised, or otherwise for "asking a question"... that concept is so opposite to what this site's about.
