Hi gang,

Originally, I was going to attempt the GS & SV (N-9 from "Nine N=-Saclwe Railroads), but decided that it was way too involved for me.  So I  took the  the "Multiple Track Arrangement" from the Intro to N-Scale Railroading book and made some modifications. Any ideas, criticisms, etc, will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Paul R.

I'm curious, what exactly
I'm curious, what exactly is it you like about this layout?  Do you have ideas for scenery and industries on it?

I see a lot of extraneous

I see a lot of extraneous track and little opportunity for operations. Your first step should be to lay out what you want to get out from your model railroad and your own interests within the hobby. Once we know that we can better help you with this.

One of these days I'll get around to doing a track planning primer for beginners...

What I like

There is nothing particular about this RR that I sends me into argasmic rapture. I am not one pf those guys who wants a hobby that is like running a real RR. I just like playing with the scenic possibilities and running the trains, ect. I do like the layout of the two terminal ends, which I think can be used as an indenendent line. As far a scenery goes, I have no specific ideas as yet, and will probably wing it as I progress.

I klnow I am going to have some forest and water effects.

Any suggetions wouild be considered.

Paul R.
