I own 3 Con-cor Amtrak Superliners in Phase IV trim and want to get at least 3 to 5 more. Unfortunately, Con-cor says they are out of production (and they don't know when or if they'll go back into production) and all of my favorite Internet haunts are out of stock as well. This leaves me with a predicament: Do I re-sell my Con-cor coaches, or can I combine them with Kato Superliners? My Con-cor units have been updated with MT couplers and trucks, but I don't know how reliable they are when connected to Kato couplers. How do the two brands compare side-by-side and if they show well together, do I need to change out the Kato couplers to MT's? Thanx!
