Thanks for sharing your scratch-built gon' with us - a very nice effort indeed.

Would you be prepared to do a 'how to' for us?

(I'm particularly interested in learning how you did the the underframe/running gear - scratch-built or purchased?)

Thanks.

[Mod note: Here is a link to the gondola GP15T built and which Komata is referencing above. http://www.nscale.net/image/2008/04/28/scratchbuilt-gondola Using Images, which cannot be replied to, can cause very disjointed pieces of information! Much better to insert them directly in the thread! - BDC]

I'll put in my vote for

I'll put in my vote for that one, too. A How-to article would be very nice.

Cheers,

I know Mother named me after a railroad man, but it's too late now, I'm afraid. Much, much too late.

tell you what.
I'll gather some bits and pieces together and I'll do a photo how to. to anwser your question. I used a part of an scrapped hopper for the bolster. Since this was going to be used in a coffee table layout, I didn't take much care to do  underframe detail. Its just a piece of flat steel for weight. But for the "how to" I'll do a better detailed version.
