I found this web site offering an alternative to the ground throws. Has anybody used it, if so what is your experience with it. They seem pretty straight forward to install and look nice in the pictures.

They look nice, but they are basically a "off board" throw. At about 11$ each they are not much cheaper than a tortoise switch machine.

If you want an off board mechanical switch throw... what about the old stand by the automobile choke cable?
