See map: Google Maps for those of us in the northeastern illinois/southeastern wisconsin area, a new hobby shop opened on august 1st on main street in antioch, illinois. model trains and hobbies is the name of the shop, and the owner is a great guy that as it turns out i have known since our days in grade school. he is an n scale modeler, so there is a distinct emphasis on n scale, but he will be stocking all scales. so happy days ahead, and we finally have a shop in our area that we can call home. if you're in the area and have been patiently waiting for this shop to finally open, that day is here so stop in and spend some money with jack. he's got a real nice selection of n scale rolling stock with more coming in every day. he anticipates having an internet presence as well, and as that information comes available i will update it here.  meanwhile, i'll be helping him on his store layout, a combination of o scale and n.  that ought to be interesting......Laughing

kebmo, sounds really very

kebmo, sounds really very good for folks in that area! I wish the new owner and all prospective clients well!

Since you already know him, how about getting the owner to join nScale.net and keep everyone up to date of the trials and tribulations of running an "LHS"?
