Okay, a couple of things on my mind.
First, I still have to log in every time I visit. Now, I know I've said that that's a minor inconvenience, so I don't want to make a big deal about it. What was more surprising to me tonight was the number of ads scattered about the home page (which disappeared as soon as I logged in!). I was afraid the site had been taken over by spammers! If these ads help support the forum, I'm all for them as long as they go away after logging in!
The "chip in" ad: didn't know what that was for. I read another thread a little while ago where it was explained that the 'chip in' ad is to donate to the forum. That's good! Small ad, generate a little operating revenue, keep the site going. I'll be donating sometime.
I thought there was a third thought in my mind, but I seem to have lost it. The thought, that is, not necessarily my mind (although sometimes I wonder about THAT, too!). It might have been the restricted space on the home page from all the ads. It's hard to read the posts and blogs when the reading area is so narrow. But that, too, disappears when you log in, so it is a non-issue.
I'm very pleased with the improvements on the forum. We own a lot to the folks who toil behind the scenes to keep the site up and interesting. If we lost any members because of the changes, it's their loss, not ours.
Darrell, quiet...for now

you'll start to understand the difference between the folks that really are complainers, and the ones that are just trying to figure out what is going on.
