A spell checker is now part of the WYSIWYG interface. Look for the button with the ABC and checkmark on it. Once you run the spellcheck, it will underline the words it doesn't like. Just right-click on each underlined word and from the context menu choose your preference.

Hoo Ray !! YIPIE YA !!

Thank you Todd.  I'll have no need of composing off line in Outlook ezpress  or Word/Wordperfect.  You really have no idea how bad a speller I really. This is super terrific.

See ya

Spell Checking

Thank you Todd  for the spellcheck - it makes things much easier.

Glad to see too, that it handles both 'Proper' and 'Ameican' English without complaint.

One suggestion:  When  a new item such as the spellcheck is introduced into the system, it might be worthwhile directing us to the bottom of the screen.  'XYZ - interface' (or whatever its correct title is) means nothing to some of us, but a simple direction - 'it's at the bottom of the screen when you are writing a posting' at least tells us to look for something new.

As I  said, just a suggestion - made after discovering the Spellcheck purely by accident and trying to locate an 'XYZ-interface' without knowing what one even looked like. Embarassed

But, perhaps it's just me?

Thanks though,  for all you're doing - it IS appreciated!

Anytime something isn't

Anytime something isn't clear to a user, it is my fault and lack of care. The good news is, once I get this bloody site move done, I will be making proper help systems, that will include video demos. Glad you figured it out in spite of my poorly crafted explanation.

Everyone, please keep these kind of comments coming. I like to think we can have a continuing improvement program here. Comments like these help me immensely. (boy the spell check helped me on this post!)

Todd,BTW: For me it's a left

Todd,

BTW: For me it's a left click, not a right click to open up spell checker replacement words.

For me right click brings up the copy/replace options

See ya
