The seating arrangment varies by car although the serving section is always in the middle where the windows are absent. Some of the cars have booth seating on either end, some have regular coach seats and one or both ends, and some have 2x1 business class seating at one end.

Amfleets

Another place for information that I have used in the past is here: http://www.hebners.net/amtrak/

This site has pictures of just about every piece of Amtrak equipment from the start to all the modern stuff. Hope this helps you.

West of Chicago...

...there are the two-story cars on all four trains I have taken. These cars have the cafe area on the lower level, with the concession stand and several booths to sit in. Upstairs there is a lounge area, with large glass windows extending up into the ceiling, for mountain viewing. The chairs swivel and some recline.

I doubt many railroads

I doubt many railroads scroll through M$word looking for font ideas. I'd bet money on Amtrak having paid big bucks to a designer to come up with a catchy looking name, stylized for the side of an amfleet car, locomotive or whatever. There -may- be railroad fonts available, but they're reproductions, and most of the ones i've seen are no where near close to accurate. If you've got the software, you can take the logo and modify it to turn it into a font for the side of your car.

It sounds like you're trying to make your own Amfleet cars?

I looked...

through my Microsoft Works options and I believe it is in the "Myriad Condensed Web" font. I like it both regular and bold.
