I am thinking of painting an Atlas H15-44 into CNJ blue for a project I am considering.  I was planning to use a Scalecoat II aerosol to make this easier.  However, I am not sure of what shade of blue to use.  In researching this, the color seems to vary a bit in the photo's I am finding.  And the amount of weathering makes it hard to be sure.

 My questions:

Can anyone suggest a suitable color?  I am thinking of using B&O blue as that seems good to my eye.

Does anyone have experience removing paint from an Atlas model?  If so, would you suggest a safe paint remover?

Thanks,

Tony,

The B&O blue looks a little dark.  I was just comparing pictures and I think the C&O blue is pretty close. Another choice might be the Chessie System blue, although it seems a bit brighter than the CNJ.
