I am interested in finding out about the various types of wooden trestles. and any online templates that might exist for scratch building them. I have been thru this site's search and Google but haven't found anything really all encompassing and basic. Anyone have any favorites they want to share? Thanks.

Tony, Great subject! I've toyed numerous times with the idea of scratchbuilding a wood bridge, but never found the guts to dive into something i knew nothing about. I'll be watching this thread! AR

I was thinking about how to make a wooden trestle jig, then I found this little gem of a webpage, and it makes trestles as simple as can be...without needing a router. This one just requires some card stock, a little balsa, and glue. Superb idea, and I will be trying this at some point. http://www.auran.com/trainz/database/trestle.html
