JACKPOT!!! I won the January question!!! The only other thing I've ever won in my life (besides the occasional $5 lottery scratch off ) was a deflated basketball in a high school. Here's a link to the page if anyone wants to give it a shot:

When I got home today I had my UPS package waiting for me from Micro-Trains. I didn't realize that they only made 200 of these, I got number 96. It's also comes with a button with the presidential seal and is signed by the President of Micro-Trains which I think is pretty neat. Pictures:

Yes, they are pretty neat! I think mine in #93 which makes sense since I got it in December.

I haven't opened the box, didn't want to release the factory air..

Me neither - lol! I've never been too interested in the "collector" cars, but I have to admit that I was checking out some of the MT President series cars on the 'bay after I got this one. At about $15-$20 a car multiplied by 44 = ...I think I'll stick with my freebie!

I've got #52. Wow, they are only at 95? That'll take about 1 Year 9 Months to complete

Not to hijack the tread or anything, but don't people wish there was a car leasing service, where you could pay $1 a week?

I won the 85th car in October of 2010. How many are collecting the set? So far I have all of them that has been released including the engine and caboose. Just curious has anyone else inquired to micro trains if there will be a B unit? I asked a few weeks ago and was told there would not be a B. I suggested them doing a small run and offer them as a bonus to the winners of the oath of office cars. I certainly would like one offered.

I'm not collecting them, but that's a great idea to do a A-B.. I suppose you get another A and turn it around to run A-A..

The presidential series is the first series i have attempted to collect since getting into N Scale. So its been an enjoyable experience so far. I have yet to open any of the cars or the engine. But so far I think im the only one to win the Oath of Office car from the state of North Carolina.
