The latest update shows August, so we'll see if they can hold to it or push it back again.

My Southern one finally showed up after sitting in UK customs for about a week.

It's awesome. Performs great, especially on my crappy trackwork.

If you mean the Southern high hoods, they were released a few months after the initial batch, along with the rest of the High Hood versions.

What's another 2 weeks ? Page updated today and Conrail units are now marked as September. I have to wonder what happened as they have everything done and are releasing runs, why all of a sudden are they now 3 months behind again ?

What happened to the SD45-2s. Pre-ordererd EL unit was supposed to be here in April.

This is just how things are at IM. I remember the pre ordered F units I had in PC and B&LE. Almost a year late and they cancelled the B&LE B units without mention.

They'll get here someday, just hope for the best I suppose.

    https://www.intermountain-railway.co...omingsoon.html

Here is their " Coming Soon " page. They should rename it maybe, someday page. SD45-2 says April. At least it doesn't say TBD, which in IMRC speak means dead, cancelled and whatever else you'd like to add that is similar

I see they are running ES44T4s as well. Hopefully Scale Trains gives them the pressure to get it together.

That I really hate... When I've planned to build a certain consist, and only get half of it.

Sort of happened to me with a dealer who didn't have live inventory. Ordered something like 3 5-unit spine cars and 5 3-unit spine cars to form a nice long "trailer train" - and they shipped only the 3-unit cars because the 5-unit cars were out of stock. Going to cost me another $45 international shipping fee for the rest of the train...

I emailed them asking them where the beef was, and here's their reply, which I do find reassuring.

We'll be shipping N Scale SD40-2's in both September and October. The delay was due to our need to increase production quantities last-minute due to the huge success of the first couple of runs. Our reservation numbers increased dramatically for the latter runs so we needed to place additional PO's to fill the demand. This caused the factory to subsequently increase plastic production, etc., which slowed the entire process. This is why the new universal decoder is not available from ESU yet as a consumer item, they are building decoders for our products (and Atlas I believe) and don't have the capacity to build for the packaged market.
Let's hope that wanting them too much is the only issue!
