    Default WVR 655 Round 2?

    Been seriously considering sending WVR caboose 655 around again. If I do, it'll be a quickie trip of aproximately 2-3 months, starting in January, after the holiday shipping madness ends. It'll also be done with the changes that have come to the WVR since it's last journey.

    If I do this, who'd be interested in being on the short list for it?

    you know I'm always open to these travelling car opportunities. In fact, we were supposed to have one in mid-year this yr but it never got off the ground. I even had some signees (if that's a word) so short answer again - yes.

    Just curious if there would be much interest in a private travelling car. I have a flat car that I could hastily (and cheaply) letter for the Kettle River Railway to send out.

    Host the car, load it up and ship it out!

    It sounded like a good idea at the time... too bad the caboose wasn't in on the plan.

    I'm not allowed to run the train, the whistle I can't blow. I'm not allowed to say how fast the Railroad Train can go.
    I'm not allowed to shoot off steam, nor even clang the bell. But let the damned Train jump the track, and see who catches hell!

    My layout isn't very big but would be happy to host a travelling car. It would be a good inspiration for me to get more scenery finished. LOL

    @VinceP
    you don't need a layout just a small scene like a diorama. you set the scene with the car and take some pix, post the pix and mail the car to the next person on the list.

    Gene don't even have a postage stamp of a Dio yet either as my old Dio's got trashed in the move.

    It would be a pic on the kitchen table by itself.

    But next round that's a different story though thanks for the thought.

    Okay Gene you just twisted my arm as i'll accept being the last one on the list.

    Hopefully I can muster something by then.

    As if I can make this happen there's a surprise I have to go with the caboose shot.

    So end of list it is.
