    Default Hoosier train shows

This weekend kicks off the fall/winter train show season in central Indiana with the first of three shows in four weeks. It begins with the Danville train show on 11/19, the Indy South show on 11/26, and the Naptown & White River (NWR) train show on 12/10. I'm going to give it my best shot to attend all three!

I think you should attend the Naptown one at the high school on the south side of town on December the 10th. I hear there will be at least one N scale dealer there.

I went to the Danville show a couple of weeks ago and it was well represented with N scale. The Indy South show was a bust for N scale, as usual. The last Naptown show wasn't bad, so I'm hoping for the next one to be at least that good.

Have fun Mike! My layout's partly based in the Hoosier State, so I have a vested interest in the state and its' model railroad shows!

mike, i am hoping to go to the naptown one next weekend.Let me know if you go !!
If you want to model an engine, go with O scale. If you want to model a train, go with HO. If you want to model a railroad, go with N. Mike

The NWR show is just a couple of days away and I am definitely planning to attend. I may have a guest with me this time. For the first time ever, my wife may go with me (and it's not just to hold on to the checkbook). She's been showing a LOT more interest in my train habit lately.

I went to the NWR show last Saturday. While not a terrible show, it still left a lot to be desired for an N scale modeler. There were several exhibition layouts in a variety of scales (including N), but the vendors seem to want almost nothing to do with N. This show ran a distant second to the Danville, IN show a few weeks ago. The Indy South show finished fourth in the race of three.

Yeah, I owe you an apology. I could not make it there as a seller. Too much going on here at home. I'll see you at another Indiana show sometime.

I added a couple more Indy shows to the calendar that I may attend. One is the Great Train Show and the other is another edition of the Naptown & White River show. The GTS is Feb. 4-5 and the NWR is Mar. 4.

I'll be selling at the Michigan City show in a couple weeks. New locos for $60.
