    Default I'm a Dumb-Azz

Paint at 76 degrees. Body shells at 76 degrees. Then I placed two long hoods, and two cabs on a board and walked onto my Florida Room and spray painted in 86 degree heat, with a relative humidity of upper 80s. Gee, after I brought the painted parts inside, I noticed what a nice tiny bubbling effect I achieved on the plastic bodies. You'd think after 50 plus years of painting plastic, I would have compensated for the temperature change! I'd have issues in Winter with colder outside temperatures, but what was I thinking yesterday? I'm a Dumb-Azz for sure.

I bet it still looks better than anything I've ever painted

Happens to us all. Time for the 3S rule. Soak, strip, start over!

Sounds like a decent name for a small railroad. The SS&SO Line...

Good luck, @CHUCKGEO. WX can be a real pain when painting...
    N-joy!

Went to my secondary hobby store (AutoZone) and bought a bottle of Brake Fluid. Poor C420 shells look like the have a terminal case of acme. Parts are soaking. Hopefully, 1n 24 hours, I can wash and then repaint shells.

I don't think the problem was the temperature.

I would blame it on the humidity.

Water and spray painting, rarely are a good thing.

I like the sound of that. Could be many things.
