    Default Kato 23-088?

In my brother's collection I have come across bags and bags of track accessories, such as a bag of 10 pieces (sets) of what is labelled Kato 23-088. I cannot find much information online as to what these are and what they are for. It's possible that they are no longer in Kato's catalog. Can anyone help me identify these so I can put them up for sale? They appear to be elevation devices.

Thanks so much for the quick response! Any chance of seeing a photo or diagram of these in action? I don't have the boxes anymore, and I know sometimes Kato would put images or diagrams on the box to show how the item is to be used. I can't wrap my head around how these work! Thanks again!

Thanks for the link. I had checked Google Images, but did not know what I was looking for. I think this must be it: the braces holding up the top piece. Is that correct?

Apparently, Kato has changed the number or has modified the piers.

I found these at my favorite Japanese pusher...

Whenever I need to find out about anything originating is Japan, I check here...

They not only keep listings on current stuff, but discontinued as well.
