Some kits from Andy Manvell, you can find them on Ebay https://www.ebay.com/usr/manvelar1954?_trksid=p2047675.l2559

Bought an Atlas SD9 in Southern Pacific. It was used and was quite dirty (wheels and mechanism). I spent some time taking it all apart and cleaning the excess and dirty lube out of all the gears and now it runs nicely. Also added a decoder so it will run with the other SD9 I have, an SP in Kodachrome. I'll have to get some photos...

Purchased late last month, but arrived yesterday so I'll place them here: my designs for various styles of loading ramps for the team tracks at my towns.

So far I found a BLI Milwaukee Road E6 in the '48 paint scheme (2nd), and an IM SD40-2, also in Milwaukee Paint. Also picked up a couple of IMEX mobile homes.........planning to do a trailer park, and I'll mix these in with some of the Woodland Scenic lighted ones.

Thanks to my wife (long story) I just ordered this little loco for her small layout:

A little DCC with sound Model Power 2-6-0. If it runs as well as I am told, she who must be obeyed might just loose it
    Cheers Tony

Can't wait to hear a report on that steamer. I have been wanting to pull the trigger on that exact one which would be my very first steam purchase. Where did you buy it from if you don't mind me asking?

    S ARR T 8,

I'm also interested to see how it runs. From all accounts it is a nice smooth good pulling little engine. I ended up buying from Klein's for $179 reduced from the recommended $399 according the site and Model Power.

I should be getting sometime next week, so long as Kliens pulls their finger out. I'll let you know how it runs on my wife's DC around the tree layout, which is who I bought it for. If it runs well on that, it should run beautifully on a DCC layout.
    Cheers Tony

I'm not allowed to run the train, the whistle I can't blow. I'm not allowed to say how fast the Railroad Train can go.
I'm not allowed to shoot off steam, nor even clang the bell. But let the damned Train jump the track, and see who catches hell!

Having sold most of my 1:32 scale freight cars to finance my N scale module build, I've now ordered the remaining turnouts I need for Elsewhere Yard and a handful of Loconet panels for the modules.
The money from the sale should cover everything I need, including a lot of various connectors, a booster, maybe an additional decoder and of course plywood for the modules themselves. There should even be room for decoders for my UP E9 consist for the City of LA.
Progress is slow due to life running interference, but the dream is as healthy as ever

Just hit the button for some electronics stuff - PCBs and WiFi modules from China, supporting international trade

    Here's the design:

...and now let's see what German customs have to say about the (CE-certified!) WiFi modules...
