Second building is a bash of some DPM parts to make a city service building, maybe a pump house for department of water.
Made to look like the city applied stucco, but over the years it has failed.
    Completed 2009

I really like that stucco effect. Is it plaster you textured over the brick? I kinda want to try it!

I just used joint compound drywall joint compound/patch.
Then sanded off some of it, left some rough

So I started this build about 9 years ago

    DPM's Goodnight Mattress factory

I should probably make the declaration "hello, I'm Dave and I do not follow kit directions"

Tried to make a old failing/faded painted on sign

    1) masked off where I wanted the sign to go and painted the base color, note part of this building was rebuilt, so the sign dose not go across the entire front

    2) added more tape to create a border, and used dry transfer letters to create the name( this will remain white)

    3) painted on second color

    4) used some tape and some scraping to remove the letters.

I think it came out better than expected, and yes I am also repainting the windows. I wasn't happy with the green, so the windows and doors will be a gray.

Perhaps you could paint the windows first and then use masks for the brick
