I am doing and at about the same stage, but a little bit earlier 1955 and with skirts. I got sides for the triple from Union Station Products, I could never reach M&R. I even have the 2 WoT kits too, I hope we didn't bid each other up if you got those off the bay recently.

    Awesome!!

Actually - I too, should model the '55 version. As that is the year my layout is set in. However, I like the consist of the '56 train a bit better. An olive green articulated coach a daylight converted coffee shop and so on. So -- a little artistic license is in order.

No, luckily we didn't bid against each other. As I have had those cars for a number of years. Same for the M&R sides, core kits and the Des Planes cars.

Good luck with your build --- looking forward to seeing some in progress photos -- as the Moose says --- photos or it didn't happen --- LOL

    Thanks,
    Wolf

My plan is/was to build the cars in their order in the train.

I am skipping over a coffee shop car and a 64ACM/ACW-1 articulated chair car -- as I need the correct sides for them. (What I need is now on order)

    The next car:

    A Pullman plan 4122B 22 roomette

    Thanks,
    Wolf

Got a little work done on my Lark.

I received the car sides - so, I pushed this back up the front of the line. - Next will be an articulated chair.

    77-D-11 Coffee shop/Lounge #20401

Frame and roof have been shortened. Under frame detail has been added. Trucks assembled.
Next -- adding the roof detail.

    Thanks,
    Wolf
