Default Railsmith first car announcement and order pages

    https://lowellsmith.net/railsmith/

Several trains are planned, Emprie Builder, COSF, Texas Special, Florida Special, Cascade, North Coast Limited, PRR transcontinental and NYC sleepers.

Looking forward to pre general service paints for the SPs. And the NCL, so pretty.

I am looking at the Texas Special cars. The eventually planned RPO/Baggage and Dinning cars are floor plans originally purchased by Frisco and Katy for the Texas Special. The RPO was also used for the Meteor.

The PRR group should include cars painted for the Texas Special, two of which were plan 4140 smooth side 10-6 Pullmans, and perhaps the MoPac Eagle ( which were 10-6 pullmans, but a different floor plan)

Not in my era, but glad to hear of a new manufacturer enter the fray, which is great for the hobby and the scale. I also just found out that the Lowell Smith is the one who started Portland's The Hobby Smith, which is a great hobby shop in Portland with a nice N scale selection (and a local club's wonderful N scale layout is located downstairs).

To be fair, Walthers sold the molds to him, instead of letting them die.
