Default JC's Riptrack - a new YouTube Channel Dedicated to Painting & Weathering

    Hi Everyone,

I thought I'd share the new YouTube Channel that I've created that is a dedicated how to guide for painting and weathering rollingstock, locomotives, or anything else on your layout. My personal scale is N-Scale, which means that a reasonable amount of what's going to be shown is techniques I use on my own cars. That having been said, the videos will also have some HO-scale from some commissions that I've done. They hopefully help me demonstrate the techniques regardless of the scale.

Anyway, I now have two videos up. The first one, which outlines a process that one can use is here:

I'll post the second video in the reply to this one.

I'd appreciate any feedback, or input on ideas of what I can do for future videos. The first nine are pretty much mapped out, but there's lots of different topics. Someone has already suggested a video on how to weather black railcars or locomotives.

Let me know what you think.

Since I can only include one video per thread, here's the link to the playlist in my YouTube Channel. The second video is also in there, and as I do more, I will add more to this.

Again, feedback would be greatly appreciated!

I've posted the third video, detailing step #2...

Slowly getting there. I will eventually get to chipping and rust, but I still have fading & pin-washes before that...

I pushed the schedule again. Ideally I'd like to get these out Thursday-Friday of each week, but I'm still working on timing. Here's the latest video that involves fading without an airbrush.
