Daisyville gets a defense strategy

An Ikea just opened up in town and this afternoon I'm going to pick up this little beauty of a coffee table. It's cheap enough I don't have to feel bad drilling holes in it, and I can put it where the current shabby coffee table lives, getting my darling spouse off my case for hogging the living room. It'll still require some modifications of course. There's no protection from the side, and fur will still get on everything, it's just the nature of fur. Promising though. Theoretically I'll be able to quit having to replace the same trees every weekend. (I found my fire truck, missing a ladder, in the laundry basket yesterday. Everything's THEIR toy, these cats!) Sitting on the floor is a small price to pay. I hope.

Maybe you can find somewhere

Maybe you can find somewhere to hide one of these?

A creeper seat would give you somewhere for your tools whilst you work, and the height should be OK to work on it without getting a numb butt, or sore knees.

Unless you have some deep shag-pile carpet on the floor Laughing

Ooo, that's a good idea. I

Ooo, that's a good idea. I thought about the numb butt issue (figured my Nintendo Pillow would do for a while) but there's no way I'll be able to reach my current tool tray! Thanks for the tip!
