Your show of shows

Ok I admit it, I am still a little bit in shock. My wife, Pam, and I attended the Amherst Model Railroad Show in West Springfield, Mass this past weekend. It was truly a case of sensory overload. For the first time in my life I was confronted with too much model railroading. We shot two hours of video, mostly of operating modular layouts and other selected points of interest. I suppose one gets out of any experience that which he seeks, and I was there for ideas and turnouts. I got some of each.

Kickory "Fall Fling" Train Show

On March 31, 2007 the Alexander Chapter-NRHS hosted the 5th Annual North Carolina Railroad Expo at the Hickory NC Metro & Convention Center. Located in Hickory, directly off I-40, and extremely convenient to Charlotte, Greensboro, Asheville, Greenville, and Roanoke, the show was a remarkable success. The show was so popular that we have added a 2nd date- October 20, 2007 to meet the demands of dealers and attendees alike.

March 27,28 train show in urbana Illinois
Come join the fun at the Lincoln Square Train show in March
on the 27th and 28th.
The show is held each year in Urbana, Illinois.
We have live steam locomotives running (G scale typically) and
many great vendors and layouts.
This is a gathering of young and old alike. A great place
to find deals and tons of swap meet items.
ShapeMaster will be there again this year introducing new products
for modular layouts and T-Trak related concepts.
The Bloomington Illinois Ntrak club sets up and all gauges are represented
with layouts and displays.
We will have a T-Trak layout running and some unique items to show off.
Be sure to stop and say hi. Tell your friends in Illinois to
come on over.
