I tried to upload some photos of my train room today only to find that there is 800KB limit on photo sizes. Most of the photos I wanted to upload are 888KB of larger. Most of the other Railroad Modeling sites allow bigger files sizes so why only 800KB?

Last week I found a video at the thrift store entitled Big Trains Rolling, distributed by Emson. It was brand new, still in plastic, and for 49 cents, I figured even if it were a baby movie or something, I wouldn't be out much. So I purchased it. Turns out to be a group of 4 short films for schoolchildren showing trains from the 50's. Very neat stuff if you can get past the announcer's voice and inane dialog. One of the films is absolutely fascinating. It was put out by the Pennsylvania RR and is entitled Progress on Rails. It shows the cutting edge (of the day)

Well this is a scratch building project I've been working on this summer . each element was copied from a mold I made out of sheet styrene then the stone patterns were carved out using a sharp exacto blade. After everything was glued together using cyanoacrylate I began painting with Windsor & Newton acrylic paints. When dry I decorated using various ground foams. All this has taken me all summer ( Spare time minimal ) Its still not finished . It was Allot of fun I an anxious to get on the layout.
