Try suspending it from above with a piece of 1 or 2 pound monofiliment fishing line.

Maybe use piano wire to hold it up from below?

Love the idea of a GeeBee over the rails though. I've read that they would follow railroad lines on the transcontinental races to avoid getting lost, and at such a low altitude that watching out for signal towers was a real concern for the pilot. I believe I once saw a photo of GeeBee #4 splattered across a field right alongside the tracks, but it may have been another racer. I recall the photo, but not the particulars of what plane it was.

Thanks Moose & Ranulf !!

Great ideas I'm going to try next !! I had an R/C flying buddy that flew in the Navy & he would always tell me the Army pilots flew over the RR tracks or else they would get lost !! :D He knew I worked on the RR & worked on planes in the Army & would like to joke about that !!
Thanks, John

I assume that is an N scale model of a GeeBee. If so where did you get it? ......or is it scratch built?

It's very close to N-scale & I got it from this guy on E-bay a while back.

Or just search for this item # !! 220379763150

I got 2 of them at the time, 1 for me & 1 for my buddy !!
He gives free shipping also but they're 7 dollars each. He has other planes & choppers also.

Thanks, John
