Hey guys I need to tap a hole for the screw that comes with the Micro Trains 2004 coupler, Which size drill & tap set should I get.

what are you drilling into? if into plastic, bass wood, brass or similar, you probably don't need to tap, but rather drill a slightly under sized hole and the screw will self tap. at least, that's what I do and I haven't had a problem yet. all the best, Bill.

The tap is 00-90 I don't remember the drill size. Do a Google search for Micro-trains N 98800121 Tap and Drill Bit.

Just for the record Bamboosledguy the tap drill for an 00-90 machine screw is a #65 (0.047" dia.). And also consider buying two or three drill and tap sets rather than just one. When they're that small they are really, REALLY easy to break! Don't bother to ask how I know. :D Anything smaller than a 6-32 scares the dickens out of me.

I believe you can buy the set from MT or dealer. I have several as they are easy to break...
