Anybody have a good (preferably Mac or Linux compatible) app for bulk watermarking of images?

I've read a tutorial and figured out how to do it one pic at a time using Gimp. It's easy, but pretty tedious for doing dozens or hundreds of shots. Just wondering if there's a way to batch it up for bunches of pictures.

Or maybe I should just be more picky about which photos I keep and mark... :)

Have you looked into GraphicConverter?
It has a lot of automated features. I not sure id watermarks are included.

Do you have a version of Photoshop?
I know it is very easy to create macros that will make life easier in the full program.

No Photoshop. It's not in the budget. Especially not when Gimp will do most of (if not all of) what I want. Gimp, too, has scripting capabilities (using Python). I should check into whether that will work for what I want.... oh, looky here (http://registry.gimp.org/node/21834)...

GraphicConverter costs as much as Gimp does and has a much longer history.

There used to be a crippled version of Photoshop that came with the better cameras. From what I understand rather than being crippled it was more like a sprain.

Hope you can find the right script.

These might help…
