At a Kitchen Store outlet with my wife and after seeing a pepper mill thought it my work for applying foam scenery materials, grinding them finer and applying them on your surface. Anyone try this?

I came here hoping to see a thread about constructing a building. Ha!

I haven't bought one of these yet, they weren't cheap enough for me to experiment on. I did add it to my list to pick up at some point, so we'll see.

I use an electric coffee bean grinder. The fineness of the ground items, depends on how long you run it.

Yup, I have one as well. I was thinking of the pepper mill as a way of APPLYING materials, plus it can grind big stuff into little stuff at the same time.

Seems it would work as long as it does not grind material finer as you apply it.
I have used kitchen, tea and other strainers, with different sized mesh for applying so far.
When you try it let us know how it works.
