This book is not N Scale specific , but is a good book on general Model Railroading .

Not N Scale specific that I think are worth getting. If you want some on general model railroading, there are a few I could mention.

N scale isn't a priority, just as long as it isn't specific for too large scales, like garden trains. The layout part can always be adapted, and scenery can be scaled down, as long as the tips and general instruktions works. Running, wireing, and controlling isn't scale-specific, as far as I know.

Since you asked for a book about everything, including layout design, modeling, etc. I would still stand by my original recommendation. That book covers it all. If money is no object, I will put together a reading list.

I would strongly recommend staying away from block wiring unless you are talking about power disctricts for DCC. The cost of entry level DCC is very competitive with decent non-dcc power packs.
