Thanks bassetthound, It looks like the thing to buy. It may save a lot of plastic from hitting the trash and fingers from being bandaged.

1. Draw the desired opening. 2. Cut an "X" between the corners of the opening. 3. Score the edges of the opening with an X-Acto knife. 4. Snap the resulting triangles off. You should have four clean edges to place your Grandt Line windows into.

Thirdrail, I tried you suggestion and it works pretty well. I'll do some more practice because it was easy on thin stock but it was a little more difficult on clapboard siding. I'll also get a big supply of new blades.

Another possibility is to use either chisels or carving tools. If you have a Rocklers or some other woodworking supply store, mosy down there and check it out.
