The blog will contain a variety of different types of entries. Some are train related and others will be of a general type. Others maybe the result of a total Eclipse of the sun. Poping in when the moon is covered in darkness. I hope you enjoy one or two of them and maybe crack a smile or two. A loud laugh would be nice but....

  1. Retired Locomotive Engineers Golf Plans for Christmas Day

    Four retired Locomotive Engineers were playing their weekly game of golf, one remarked how nice it would be to wake up on Christmas morning, roll out of bed and without an argument go directly to the golf course, meet his buddies and play a round.

    His buddies all chimed in said, "Let's do it! We'll make it a priority; figure out a way and meet here early, Christmas morning."

    An Obituary printed in the London Times.....Absolutely Dead Brilliant!!

    Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was, since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape. He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as: Knowing when to come in out of the rain; why the early bird gets the worm; Life isn't always fair; and maybe it was my fault.
