  1. Beginning my Blog

This will be a blog about my delve into model railroading. Not sure where it will lead, or how many entries it will have, only time will tell.

I started with Kato Unitrack, purchasing the M2 starter set which is a basic oval with siding and DC power/control pack. Along with this I purchased a N EMD F7 Union Pacific Train set which included a locomotive, 3 mixed freight cars and a caboose. Soon I added the V2 Viaduct set, V5 Inside loop and V6 Outside loop add-on sets. I also got ...

  2. Thoughts on purchasing a new streetcar

    Hello all,
I have my eyes on a new Kato light rail vehicle, https://www.plazajapan.com/494972768...SABEgLtZfD_BwE It's the Kato 14-804-1 Hiroshima Railway Type 100 car, and it just came available in late December.

  5. Does anyone ever really finish?

I realize that of course, most people finish projects. As a guy who has spent a lifetime fixing people's houses for them, even I have finished a project or two. So why am I having so much difficulty with this station? It seems like every time I get close to having the end in sight, I change my mind and re-design it, or I want to "think about it" for a few days and move on to something else while I do. The good news there is that I have made decent progress on the city park that will be ...
