    Railwire down?

Funny how "upgrades" almost ALWAYS initially cause downgrades.

I've been using servos to throw turnout for a few years now. I try to buy the 9g servos in bulk, and the cost is less than $1.50 each and I've bought them as low as $1.19 each. My mounts are 3D printed on one of my FDM printers.

Originally I was making them mount like a Tortoise, but just didn't like the the big hole in the subroadbed.

This is the new mount that I now use. In most cases, I just use one limit switch on it to power the frog.

When I use a panel, I use dpdt switches and use one side of the switch for indication on the panel.

I'm using a miniature dpst switch at local industries to throw the servo.
