    'N' Gauge Rail Data.

    This article is intended as a general guild to N Gauge rail/track dimensions. It should be used to make general comparison between manufacturers and codes, to see if they are likely to be compatible for use together, and/or what might be required to connect the two.
    This is not a concise reference.
    This article will be updated from time to time as more samples become available.
    I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all those whom have contributed to this project.

    Dimensions shown are the average of those obtained from short samples (3"-5" long).
    The actual gauge is not shown, as it should technically be the same. But it is worth noting that there where minor variations between manufacturers.
    It should also be noted that the newer samples displayed more consistent tolerances throughout the sample.

      Of recent months there have been a few questions that pertain to rail compatibility.
      This being the most recent, and one that is compiling further data.
      Therefore I have resurrected the above Article that was one of the old forum articles, that did not make it over.

      If you do not see a track type that interests you, that is because no one volunteered a sample for measurement.
      I'm still open to further samples (3" to 5" in length) of different track types... Contact me via PM if you have a contribution... I will return the sample when measurements are complete if you wish.
