I suppose you could? There's plenty of room under the Sushi load.
Hmmmm, wonder what kind of sound decoder would you use?

Maybe they are delivering it themselves? By way of round the world tour via trains, planes and cruise ships?
Ed: A bargain compared to some of the other items: https://www.ebay.com/sch/m.html?item...-japan&_sop=16

what they are doing is causing the "trending" price to go up. By listing a bunch of stuff with ridiculous prices, when the put the item at 20 (still over priced) is shows as so far below the "trending" price that some folks who don't know the actual value, jump on it thinking they got a steal!
At what point would you/we/I intervene...?
Many of the posts in this thread are lost causes. Nothing we say would help and often are rebuked in anger.
Out of respect to some sellers that are clearly in over their heads and particularly when they are selling trains for a recently lost family member or friend, I tend to offer my unsolicited help. (yeah, not a great habit...)
A recent post marked an HO narrow gauge loco as Nn3. The listing caught my eye but realized quickly that it was not N scale. (wish it was) The seller was grateful and appreciated my "butting" in. He is selling his father's trains and says he knows very little about them.
The same seller has listed some Lionel diecast as N scale, They are actually 1:120 scale floor toys called Lionel Trains Big Rugged. Unpowered. They came out in late 90's. Think my son had one. This seller seems to think they are rare and has priced them as such. They sell for around $20 in original packaging.
- Would you reach out again to offer help, knowing that it is helpful but bubble bursting info?
- Let things alone. He'll figure it out eventually?
- Other?

Thoughts?
After 23 years it looks like eBay has finally scared me off as a seller. I mean, come on, they want my SSN now?? No freakin' way! I can already see their feeble apologies when their site gets infiltrated by a-hole North Korean hackers and my SSN gets sold to identity thieves on the dark web
Thank goodness for this site - now my best sales venue!

Really, Mark? SSAN? Is that even legal?
I hear ya. I "heard" that many sites are being required to track more due to government tightening restrictions, etc. I have not confirmed that.
Plus Ebay's new money holding thing is a bit disconcerting... I liked the $ales going directly to PayPal so I could spend it on other goodies. Now it goes to my bank which is why they need social.
I am giving it a try to see if there are any real advantages.
In all likelihood, our socials are all over the internet. They just need my birthdate and my nsn password to take it all.
Edit: Not to mention Ebay fees are up to 12.35% plus insertion(?)
I have to agree. I stopped selling trains on Ebay a few years ago as I did not like the way they treated small sellers. They want to be like Amazon. I still sell a few hings, books etc so I had to go with the bank thing. What I hate is the label that I print through Ebay still comes out of paypal. So it means that I need to "feed" my paypal account to print shipping labels. The "float " they get frm our money must be huge as they keep it for 3-5 days.

So, I just watched this happen:
https://www.nscale.net/forums/attach...1&d=1612836593
It was under $30 when I started watching it. In the last 5 minutes it jumped up from $85 to the price you see. I think I'd rather by a locomotive and save some money.
