Tony, I too ran into the same problem a while back with my tight radius loops. I had the same issue as aflica and was effecting the rail spacing. Have you run a gauge around that section?
TONY!!! I'm glad you and the Mrs are OK. You've been missed and it's great to see you back.
I actually did what is shown in the picture. Works fairly well and no need to replace the coupler at all.

Good to hear Hobby Town was able to check it out for you. That really sucks you have to send it back in for work though. I don't have any N scale BLI locos, so I can't speak on those but I do have...
It pops off like the front one. I have mine upside down right now and just used a small flat head screwdriver. Ran it along one side between the wheels and the bolster pin. Popped right off.

Hobby Town in Kennesaw is about 30 minutes from you. It's the largest in the nation and they work on locomotives right there in the store. The guys I've talked to that work behind the counter have...
Do you know anyone with a DCC controller that can set CV8 to 8?
The Paragon 3 sound system can be reset to the factory
default by setting CV8 to a value of 8. If this cannot be
accomplished, the system can be manually reset by
holding down the tiny reset...
Looks great Mark. I'm always impressed with your builds.
Broken down fencing along the tracks?
Amazon. I've gotten everything from 0-80 on up.
Oh man, I'm sorry you're having trouble. I should have been more specific. I was referring to a cap added to the decoder as an aftermarket add-on. After reading your decoder information on the OP, I...
I used the deep water pour for my layout and it worked fairly well.

Is there a capacitor wired in to the decoder? I found on my loksound setups if I have a keep alive or capacitor wired in, I have problems programming with the lokprogrammer.

Digi-key is where I get mine.
That is sad to hear, both for his wife and the business. I hope he finds peace.
What about using an iphone speaker? I've read a few places where the 6's speaker has been used with good results.

Well look at that. A comparison of BLMA to FVM.....too bad we were talking about jpwisc comparison of FVM to FVM. I read that article before I made the thread. You've proved my point.
Thanks all...
Why ASSUME I didn't? It gets really old constantly reading people butt in to conversation with comments like this one. Then you wonder why people stop posting......
Would you happen to have any pics showing the wide next to a standard size?
Just checked the FVM website and they are listing the 3610 wide tread 36" .540" wheels in stock!!! I haven't seen the wide tread versus the standard but that is a good sign that they are receiving...
I use an old solder tube. Of course, I can't find it to post a pic of it but it's the tube with the red top and a hole in the middle to pull the solder through. Works great from pouring ballast of...
Have you ever compared them to the Rapido ones?
