honestly I've just been messing with foam for a short while . I just had a bunch of scrap foam laying around and one day, started experimenting with it . of course...
more paint , more paint .... working on ballasting the creekbed with gravel, sand and pebbles ... and oh yeah , did I mention more paint ? I like paint, It makes things purty :D

lots of painting done today ... I also cut the track up in the front bend to do another trestle conversion , and drilled holes and routed wiring for the turnouts and track power leads

as far as the unitrack goes you can remove the joiners and cut off the tabs flush and the two track will still slide and contact but absent the scene shattering jolt of unsnapping the track together...

trimmed off the extra tie from the trestle , glued everything together and painted .. good for now . will come back and make the foundation timbers and detail paint later when the rest of the layout...

it is indeed a tight little course but I do want to keep it dimensionally small it's 17.5"x36" , this will just be for smaller stuff .. my f unit will handle the turns to my surprise though. good...
